• With our programmable Micro-EDM systems positioning to 1µm (.00004") is possible with holes being drilled from 10µm (.0004") and up to 1mm (040").
• Air slits are available from 10µm (.0004") width in various exotic metals.
• Typical holes now being drilled routinely are 50µm (.002") in stainless steel 1mm (.040") thickness. Tolerance +/- 1-2µm (+/- .00004" - .00008").

We also drill holes in stainless steel via laser down to 1µm (.00004") in 12µm (.0005") thickness for laser, optical and vacuum leak detection.
